Prog means many things to many people, and in this release Al shows you what it means to him, how it’s made him the player he is, and shares some of his playing ideas to make you a better player too.

Featuring the suitably proggy powerhouse of a track in “Make Your Move,” which combines compositional concepts with some classic JTC shred. All played on a six string guitar and available as part of the The Dynamic Soloist Collection.

Throughout the track and the licks, you’ll outline chords, dive into phrygian dominant patterns, slide in and out of sweeped passages, navigate staccato rhythms, tap into that “7th” sound and call on legato, alternate picking and double stop bends in a challenging obstacle course of lead guitar.
