Symphonic Rock Masterclass

Throughout this masterclass (guided by the main lesson PDF document) Ignazio picks apart his own approach to symphonic rock solos and takes you with him on a melodic and technical exploration into the many tools you’ll need to write your own epically powerful symphonic rock solos!

Ignazio says ‘We are going to examine a range of ideas for developing original and catchy solos over some epic melodic rock. In the first part there are 10 licks (played fast and slow) in which I cover several techniques and melodic approaches. In the second part we have 10 exercises (also played fast and slow) which give you the opportunity to focus on specific techniques and patterns. All of this comes together in a full solo.’

Some of the techniques you’ll encounter include: alternate picking, hybrid picking, economy picking, sweep picking, legato, 3NPS patterns, eight finger tapping, expressive bending and more!
