Sweet Euterpê

This is Kenny Serane's winning entry which ranked first place in the JTC Guitar Solo Contest 2015! Kenny first submitted a very inspiring solo over one of our backing tracks for Round 1 (click here to watch it), and was then voted into Round 2 by our artist judge panel where he submitted this original composition which was voted 1st place! Kenny won a huge pool of gear prizes, secured a years endorsement with EMG and became a JTC artist!

This track features some really great melodic development and thematic building which combined with a few killer riffs, a rocking solo and a diligent attention to dynamic detail and groove makes for a winning track that really captured the attention of JTC and our artist judges alike!

You will find creative use of wider intervals, exemplary use of incorporating arpeggios into melody lines to outline the harmony and a few odd time sections! Kenny makes great use of hybrid picking, slides, bends, and vibrato and mixes faster and slower phrases very tastefully!

As ever, we have included everything you need to practise and perfect the material in this package. There are video and audio tracks for you to watch/listen and study, accurately transcribed TAB/notation for you to analyse and master as well as backing tracks for you to practise every lick to, and jam out your own solos! We've even included some text notes to help you really get these parts down!
