We are ecstatic to welcome world renowned blues master Kirk Fletcher into the JTC ranks! As you can hear in the examples, Kirk has an innate ability to draw from an endless source of blues influences, then play them with his own unique flair and style. We’re excited for all the great music he’ll be bringing to us all in the future!

Focusing on helping you to develop your phrasing and your ability to follow the blues changes with your lines, Kirk has woven 5 full solos packed to the rafters with articulation, dynamics and inflections that are integral to crafting blues solos that sound melodic and expressive.

As you follow along with videos and study the complete TAB/Notation, you’ll find yourself making creative use of plenty of guitar techniques that all the great blues players use everyday including slides, bends, double stops, a variety of vibratos, picking techniques, and more.

We’ve also included track notes and backing tracks for each solo, so you can explore the tracks in great detail, get practising, and discover how you would like to write your own solos.
