What’s it about?
Brunno Henrique delivers a comprehensive analysis of the creative use of an often mechanical tool. Transform tapping from a two-handed technique to a piano-inspired art of harmonic exploration.
It’s centred around “Lumina”, “Enigma” and his Jam of the Month winning solo, “Dark”. Three solos, as well as isolated slow licks and selected “baby-step” super-slow licks too. With a lesson, study material and full tab/notation, this JTC debut offers a modern approach to the art of tapping.
Don’t just improve your skills, but improve how you apply those skills at the same time.
Note: Brunno uses a 7-string guitar, however, this release ONLY uses the top six strings.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to strengthen the independence of your hands, allowing you to play various melodies across the neck. As you move around the fretboard, you’ll also unlock access to triad shapes with hammer-ons.
No technique exists in isolation, and with additional challenges in the shape of legato and string skipping, you will be given the chance to incorporate tapping into your full-time repertoire.
As you work through the exercises, understand the licks and take on the lesson, this release shows you key creative applications that will expand your vocabulary.
