Guthrie Govan is regarded by many as the best guitarist there is, and perhaps has ever been. His improvisation, technical ability and understanding of complex theory is second to very few, if indeed anyone at all. Guthrie has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember, and began gigging at the age of just five. His debut album Erotic Cakes brought him critical acclaim, and his sessions in the JTC studios arguably laid the path for us today! Such mastery of the guitar has also led him to work with fellow virtuosos in Bryan Beller and Marco Minemann for The Aristocrats.
