General Notes The information for each track is specifically focused on the scales you can use for improvising your own solos. Mateus mostly uses pretty standard techniques, and the unique sound of his playing comes from the intricacy of his phrasing and his pianistic approach to the guitar’s layout. This is the kind of thing you can only work on in your own time. If you’re learning parts of these solos, take it very slowly, and try to feel the groove of each phrase, rather than trying to be 100% accurate with every tiny note. |
